A Brief Overview: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties.
Experience Qualifications:
- 1 year Stock or warehouse experience. Required
- Experience with food service stock or warehouse experience. Preferred
- Experience operating automatic pallet truck. Preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, packing lists, safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. (Required proficiency)
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. (Required proficiency)
- Basic understanding and ability to use excel spreadsheets, e-mail and data entry programs. (Required proficiency)
Licenses and Certifications:
- Drivers License - DMV Current Valid Driver's License and Clean MVR with 3-year baseline and annual MVR review. Required
What You Will Do:
- Rotate and stock all inventory. Date all perishable items.
- Receive products & check for quantity, quality and minimum temperature requirements.
- Pull and record food products per production pull sheets.
- Distribute stock to other areas of hospital and clinics.
- Maintain and operate an automatic walking counterbalance lift truck, manual pallet jack, handcart and dolly.
- Drive a delivery vehicle.
- Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness and safety of dock and storage areas.
- As directed will assist with inventories, assign ledger accounts to invoices and input daily food statistics.
- Monitor freezer/cooler temperatures and report temperature discrepancies.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with all other employees.
- Must be dependable, have good personal hygiene habits and be neat and professional in appearance.
