Senior Analytics Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to create data products that meet the different needs of the business. As an Analytics Engineer, you will be the bridge between business needs and the data platform. You will create data pipelines to improve and increase the availability of indicators in our lakehouse, create monitoring and tests that ensure the quality of the developed pipelines from end to end. Together with the product people, we understand the business rules and use the best practices of data modeling to ensure high performance and quality in our products. In addition:

• Contribute to the design, documentation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of our production data codes, tools, and pipelines (ETL/ELT);
• Translate business needs into solutions aligned with the tools and strategies of the data platform;
• Negotiate with stakeholders a data strategy that can generate the greatest impact;

We expect you to be passionate about data, capable of writing SQL queries to solve complex problems in an optimized way, have experience with different advanced data modeling techniques for analytical purposes (ex: Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Mart, etc), have experience with cloud, especially AWS and its services, theoretical and practical knowledge of Google BigQuery and/or Databricks, practical experience with analytical programming languages (Ex. Python, R, Scala, etc.), experience with data pipeline quality and observability, using monitoring, automated tests, etc, ability to abstract business concepts into quantitative metrics (Ex. KPIs, OKRs, etc), knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc, and good communication skills to deal with stakeholders from technical and business areas.
