Nursing Practice Manager

The Nursing Practice Manager will provide operational support to leverage subject matter expertise across multiple settings and operating units in support of SLHS mission, vision, and strategic objectives.

The Nursing Practice Manager will:

  • Facilitate the identification and deployment of best practices to support organizational strategic objectives.
  • Provide subject matter consultation in support of quality, stewardship, and service goals.
  • Administer services determined to be more efficiently and effectively performed centrally.
  • Facilitate system workgroups.
  • Engage with strategic partnerships to drive performance across the organization.
  • Represent SLHS in interactions with external regulatory bodies, national groups, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Participate in the development of long-range plans which support the system's philosophy, strategic directive, and general objectives.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors' degree in Nursing
  • Experience: 6 years' related experience
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License from the State of Practice

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in perioperative care (pre-op, intra-op, post-op and endoscopy) is preferred
