We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PACU Leader to manage our high-volume, high-acuity, 24/7 recovery department serving both pediatric and adult populations at the Boise St. Luke's hospital campus. This unit manages care of post-anesthesia recovery for inpatient and outpatient surgical patients, as well as post-anesthesia patients from Endoscopy, Cath Lab and Medical Imaging.
This leadership role is responsible for clinical operations, staff development, and system-wide expertise on PACU and recovery practices and workflows. The PACU Manager collaborates with anesthesia colleagues, surgical leaders and inpatient nursing leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care for surgical and procedural patients. This leader supervises approximately 70 staff members and 2 Assistant Nurse Managers to accomplish over 20,000 post-anesthesia recoveries annually.
