Type: Part-Time (30 Hours Biweekly)

Shift: Days

Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Pay: $48.27 - $54.96 per hour, depending upon experience

Summary:

In collaboration with the Imaging Services Technical Operations Manager, the Special Procedures Technologist ensures the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the mammography area by planning and coordinating patient flow, work distribution, inventory control and quality control. Performs Special Procedure Technologist job duties, as required.

Qualifications/Experience:

• At least 3 years experience as a radiological technologist.
• RT's must perform a minimum of 200 mammographic examinations during a 24-month period.
• Must be capable of performing mammography quality control, as outlined by FDA requirements.
• Must have CME credits, as required, for mammography certification as outlined by FDA requirements.
• Knowledge of the performance of interventional (special) procedures.
• Must be familiar with mammography imaging equipment, angiography suite equipment, quality control equipment and general office equipment
• Licensed by N.Y.S. to practice as Radiologist Technologist A.R.R.T. and L.R.T.(R) (M) required
• High School Diploma or G.ED. required. Associates Degree preferred
