Specialty Services Scheduler

The Specialty Services Scheduler (SSS) manages the Specialty Service Technicians' calendars to provide an excellent Customer experience. The SSS will work with Customers to identify the availability for the services to be performed. They will also determine technicians' availability and assign schedules accordingly. A scheduler will interact with the Customer directly to address any emergency concerns or changes in schedules that arise. The SSS will also handle incoming and outgoing phone calls daily while managing reporting.

This position is a hybrid schedule - the team meets in the office in Mentor OH on Wednesday and Thursday.

What You'll Do as a Specialty Services Scheduler

  • Prioritize time sensitive specialty service calls. Manage contractual obligations along with one-time service requests.
  • Understand priorities and shifting schedules due to business and Customer needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule Customers with appropriate technicians.
  • Monitor technicians' schedules and assign appropriate routes.
  • Update systems with correct documentation and maintain data integrity.
  • Make efficient use of the technician schedules and time using mapping software.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls.
  • Manage reporting using internal service databases.
  • Assist Customers with rescheduling appointments and troubleshooting the most cost effective routes.
  • Problem solving skills and adaptability are used daily.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous customer service or retail experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in multiple systems at one time is preferred.

Other:

  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and be self-directed.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to interpret and analyze data.
  • The use of the following software platforms is required to be efficient in this role: a. Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SharePoint navigation, CRM, Google Maps and internal service databases.

Pay rate for this opportunity is $[INSERT]. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
