Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead our technical service operations across South Australia. This pivotal role is responsible for driving service excellence, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth through strategic leadership and operational oversight. You'll work closely with sales and marketing teams to support business development, manage service contracts, and ensure high-quality technical support for our healthcare clients.

Reports to: Head of Service ANZ

Employment Type: Full-Time

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage the service team across ANZ to deliver operational excellence and superior customer experience.
  • Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams on tender submissions and project planning.
  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and user training to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules, service contracts, and spare parts inventory.
  • Handle service enquiries, breakdowns, and customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement internal training programs and performance assessments for the service team.
  • Continuously improve service systems and processes for scalability and sustainability.
  • Build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders including Nursing Managers, Biomedical Engineers, and Facilities teams.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical service experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role—preferably in the medical industry.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic Windows operations.
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity to handle tools and equipment effectively.
  • Experience in developing certification training programs.
  • Understanding of hospital IT systems and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence
