This position is accountable to Corporate Business Operations and oversees the design, implementation, management, and maintenance of server, network, and firewall systems. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal availability, performance, security, and compliance across enterprise and project environments.
Design, deploy, and manage both physical and virtual server infrastructures. Administer and provide comprehensive support for enterprise networks, including LAN, WAN, and wireless solutions. Configure, oversee, and continuously monitor firewalls, VPNs, and other network security appliances. Conduct systematic monitoring, patch management, backup operations, and capacity planning. Diagnose and resolve issues across server and network infrastructure layers. Enforce security controls in alignment with organizational, regulatory, and project requirements. Facilitate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and change management processes. Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Support compliance efforts for audits, such as ISO 27001 certifications and internal security assessments. Collaborate effectively with application, security, and project teams to deliver integrated end-to-end technology solutions.
Qualities we value include knowledge in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field; 3-5 years of experience in system or infrastructure engineering positions; proven expertise with Windows and/or Linux servers as well as virtualization platforms; comprehensive understanding of networking, routing, switching, and firewall technologies; experience in secure or regulated environments is considered advantageous; excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation capabilities; demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively; familiarity with ITIL practices or ISO 27001 standards is preferred. Working location is in Ang Mo Kio. Singaporeans only.
