Our Unmanned & Integrated Systems business offers holistic solutions in system engineering and integration. As a Senior / Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the test program development and troubleshooting of the in-circuit tester and perform machine operation programming using VHDL and Python. You will need to perform PCBA level debugging and soldering using manual and semi auto soldering machine. You will work closely with other engineers from other workshop to follow up and gather site test results to meet the delivery quality to our customers. You will have opportunities to explore new tools or system to enhance our operations at team, or workshop level.

• Explore and implement new tools and machines to up-keep the board level repair at the highest state of availability and readiness.
• Perform defect troubleshooting on PCBA level & equipment setup for testing or analysis.
• Perform failure analysis of defect boards used for both sea and land application.
• Perform refurbishment of electronics unit / assemblies

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Electronics Engineering, IT, or equivalent
• Knowledge and experience in printed circuit boards assembly (PCBA) troubleshooting.
• Experience in product level testing and debugging would be advantageous
• Knowledge in VHDL in terms of logic control, integrated circuit simulations and verification, understanding both analogue and digital circuits design requirement
• Some knowledge and experience in python programming would be advantageous.
• Willing to learn and have a positive mind set.
• Understanding quality and process improvement from card level repair to testing
• Able to work well in a team and independently as when required
