Senior Member, European Shareholder Services Team

The European Shareholder Services Team, as part of the Investment Operations unit, administers incoming client instructions relating to subscription and redemption activity for portfolios managed globally by SSIM. The team is responsible for the verification, accurate, timely processing, and onward communication of these instructions to the SSIM Investment Management team. The Shareholder Services team within SSIM Poland is an extension to the SSIM Shareholder Services team globally (London, Dublin, Sydney, Boston). The team consists of nine professionals with local management structure. The successful candidate will act as a senior member within the team, assuming responsibility on a variety of business processes with elements of team administration.

This role is performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Acting as a subject matter expert for processes managed by the European Shareholder Services team. Oversight of daily processes and controls, coupled with completing tasks assigned in a timely manner. Organization of teams work, preparation of weekly task allocation, identification of process gaps and training needs. Working closely with manager on building succession plan and strategy for the whole team. Taking responsibility and acting as a lead on various internal projects. Providing accurate and timely operational investment support to internal and external stakeholders. Managing operational risk, regular review and identifying further opportunities for risk mitigation. Ensuring all functional procedures are kept up to date. Supporting a culture of effective challenge to evolve daily operational processes, recommending and implementing changes and delivering continuous improvement. Being open to feedback. Developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including other business lines and corporate functions.

You are willing to assume responsibility and take ownership of tasks assigned. Excellent teamwork. This role requires a minimum of three to four days in the office weekly.

Education & preferred qualifications: Degree qualified (or equivalent) with a financial or analytical discipline preferred. Very good English level, other languages as an advantage. Advanced Excel knowledge. VBA/Macro coding skills are a plus. Practical AI usage or other technical or digital skills are an advantage. Five or more years robust industry experience within the fund industry. Proven experience in Investment Operations, Transfer Agency, Middle Office or similar operations unit is desirable.
