Credit Services, VP
The Global Credit Finance team oversees a portfolio of 10 different products with over $104B of notional commitments. Its 150+ member team operates in the US, EMEA and APAC with offices in Boston, Irvine, London, Munich, Gdansk, Luxembourg, and Bangalore.
Global Credit Finance's mission is twofold: to attract and retain clients of State Street through the use of the firm's balance sheet; and to add income and diversification to the company's portfolio of on and off-balance sheet investments. Our products include Private Markets – Subscription Finance, Private Credit, Real Money Funds-Liquidity and Leverage, CLOs, Municipal Finance, Commercial Real Estate, Leveraged Loans, Corporates, and Stable Value Wrap.
As the Credit Services, VP, you will:
- Grow and manage portfolio of fund level credit facilities to mutual funds and alternative investments funds.
- Work closely with Sales and Relationship Management teams across STT to identify and develop cross-sell opportunities and ensure client retention.
- Manage due diligence process and underwriting of regulated mutual fund and margin loan credit facilities, including successful legal documentation.
- Present and liaise effectively with respective deal committees and stakeholders internally such as operations, legal, risk management, etc.
- Take a lead role in portfolio administration, project management, jurisdictional expansions and new product development.
- Network within the fund finance and investment management industries, to promote and strengthen State Street's reputation, develop strong relationships and source lending opportunities, including bilateral, syndicated and participated transactions.
- Provide effective portfolio oversight and management reporting in accordance with State Street risk framework.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing on specific business initiatives and transactions.
- Manage ongoing relationships with clients and assist in developing new credit products and solutions for clients.
- Provide mentorship to AVP, Officer and Senior Associate members of the team.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Lending industry knowledge and experience in credit structuring and relationship management.
- Fund Finance industry knowledge and solid understanding of US/European mutual fund regulations required.
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or liberal arts; MBA or CFA a plus but not required.
- Minimum of 10+ years of commercial lending/credit experience; prior mutual finance lending and or syndication experience is highly desirable.
- Credit Training preferred.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $187,500 Annual
