This position is located in DEC's Warrensburg office, considered the gateway to the Adirondacks. You'll work in a close-knit office with other engineers, geologists and environmental specialists and other programs including the Divisions of Air, Water, and Environmental Remediation. You will also have the opportunity to interact with biologists, foresters, Environmental Conservation Officers, Forest Rangers and other DEC staff who are passionate about conservation. The work is varied and unique: you'll experience a mix of office and field work; have the opportunity to travel for conferences and trainings throughout the state; work on sustainability initiatives at the office; and much more.
