Your Opportunity: We are seeking an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer with focus on mining to join our Waterloo or Markham office, with consideration for other GTA locations. You will be part of the Water Resources Technical Team within Stantec's Environmental Services Business Line.
This role involves working within multidisciplinary teams on baseline and impact assessments, feasibility studies, hydrologic assessments, and water quality investigations. You will manage or assist in management of complex scopes of work alongside hydrologists, hydrotechnical engineers, hydrogeologists, structural engineers, and directly engage with clients. Strong hydrology and hydraulics expertise is essential. You will report directly to a Project Manager or Team Lead.

Graduate degree from an Engineering or Science program, with an emphasis on water resources and hydrology
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in consulting or regulatory environment, regularly using and analyzing water quality and quantity data
Professional registration with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO)
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC & Various locations in Ontario-$82,000.00 - $118,900.00 Annually
