Your Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our Markham office, with consideration for other Ontario locations. You will be part of the Water Resources Technical Team within Stantec's Environmental Services Business Line, contributing to a wide range of water resources projects.
This role involves working within multidisciplinary teams on baseline and impact assessments, feasibility studies, hydrologic assessments, and water quality investigations. You will manage complex scopes of work alongside hydrologists, hydrotechnical engineers, hydrogeologists, structural engineers, and directly engage with clients. Strong hydrology and hydraulics expertise is essential. The key responsibilities for this position include:

- Valid G-class driver's license required
Graduate degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences with a focus on water resources and hydrology
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in consulting or regulatory environments
Professional registration with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) or Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO)
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
