The Senior Structural Engineer applies buildings structural engineering principles and client service skills to cultivate and deliver a variety of project types and complexity including federal, industrial, research and development, education, and multiple other sectors. The Senior Structural Engineer has overall staff management responsibility for a structural engineering project delivery team which may consist of more junior project managers, designers, and CAD/Revit production staff. This individual welcomes opportunities and challenges within a project and applies consulting skills into each client interaction. The Senior Structural Engineer adds value while helping us differentiate from other firms and position itself as an innovator in the industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering plus 15+ years related professional experience. MA Professional Engineering License required, or the ability to obtain within 6 months from the date of employment. LEED AP Credential is preferred. Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required such as delivering plans or documents to reviewing agencies or clients or to attend meetings. May occasionally visit study areas, construction sites and/or be exposed to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.
