Our Edmonton geotechnical team is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to fill the role of Senior Geotechnical Engineer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on engineering and geotechnical projects in a multi-discipline project team environment. Working in our Edmonton, Alberta head office where many of Stantec's design projects take place, it is expected that your broad technical skills will help continue to grow the geotechnical team.

Education and experience: Minimum of a post graduate degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum of 20 years' experience in geotechnical consulting. The successful candidate will be required to primarily work in a typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Seasonal field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather and rough terrain, and requirements to lift items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
