We're looking for a full-time Marketing Specialist to partner with our Water teams across the US West region. The ideal candidate is an energetic team player who communicates effectively, manages multiple projects collaboratively, and thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

Role Overview

You will report to the Marketing Team Lead for Water and work with a broad team of marketing professionals, visual communication designers, digital and promotional specialists, and public relations experts to build brand awareness and identify market growth opportunities. This role requires collaboration with marketing and technical staff to meet aggressive deadlines and leading teams to prepare winning proposals, engaging presentations, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pursuits. Partner with key water business developers to create high-impact proposal and qualification submissions.
  • Interview and Client Presentations. Lead and coach teams through interviews and preparation of client presentations.
  • Content Creation. Develop qualification materials, brochures/flyers, award submissions, and other communications.
  • Marketing Systems. Promote the consistent use of Stantec's internal marketing and business development databases.
  • Account Management. Support client development and account management efforts.
  • Client Outreach. Collaborate with key business developers on client-facing events, digital campaigns, and other communications.

Capabilities

- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong prioritization, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office applications, and web-based interfaces.

- Strong writing and editing skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong coordination and facilitation skills, especially for positioning, proposals, interviews, and client presentations.

- Cooperative team member who can work independently and with a large team, both in-person and virtually.

Education and Experience

- Post-secondary education in marketing, English, communications, journalism, business, or equivalent level of experience.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Marketing professional in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) industry preferred.

- Knowledge of water engineering is a plus, but not required.
