We are looking for an Engineering Geologist who is looking for their next challenge, enjoys site work and being involved in large, complex projects which we have in the pipeline. You'll join a team of engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers where you will be supported by our Geotechnical leadership to deliver great outcomes on projects relating to three waters and transportation infrastructure. You'll be involved in a range of civil engineering projects where you will use your technical knowledge and expertise ranging from planning and undertaking ground investigations, preparing and interpreting ground models, reporting and providing advice to design teams and to Clients. A typical week could see you planning and undertaking site investigations, carrying out geotechnical assessments, preparing and analysing ground models, delivering detailed technical engineering geological reports and overseeing the construction of geotechnical structures. You'll assist the team with providing advice to clients and input to successful project solutions. Day to day tasks would involve:

To be successful for this role you'll need: To be a degree qualified Engineering Geologist with 3 years' experience and working towards PEngGeol, ideally in the engineering consulting and contracting industries. Previous experience in New Zealand and familiarity with Auckland geology would be useful. You'll have a "can-do" attitude, be a great communicator and enjoy working with a range of people.
