Your Opportunity

Our Rochester, NY Transportation and Infrastructure teams are looking for Interns/Co-ops for Spring/Summer 2026. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects ranging from traffic and planning to highway and bridge design.
  • Responsibilities may include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple calculations, and/or field inspection.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school. Education and experience must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program. Typical office environment, with some field that may include exposure to inclement weather.

Pay Range

Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas - Min Salary $ 40,200.00 - Max Salary $ 54,300.00. Pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
