Junior Account Manager - (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Junior Account Manager for the Swiss sales area. In this responsible role, you will take on the commercial and strategic responsibility of your customer portfolio. With great dynamism and commitment, you will support existing customers and identify new potential customers in the online, DIY, and retail sectors. You will implement our sales strategies in your region responsibly and support the sales management actively in developing new and individual strategies for your customers. Your self-confident, proactive, and open personality will help you acquire new customers and develop them into strategic partners. Your thinking and actions are always characterized by entrepreneurial foresight. Long-term partnerships are always preferred over short-term success. As a team player, you will regularly exchange information about your successes and support your customers, colleagues, and superiors as needed, even on-site at trade fairs and customer events.

Tasks (in coordination with the responsible supervisor):

  • Achievement of sales and margin targets: You will implement our brand strategies in the areas of power tools, hand tools, and accessories in your customer structure and thus contribute significantly to the company's success.
  • Strengthening the digital brand presence: You will continuously develop the online presence of our brands on the websites of our retail partners and ensure optimal visibility.
  • Customer care and development: You will maintain and expand existing customer relationships and target new customers to sustainably expand our network.
  • Individual sales promotion: You will implement tailored sell-in and sell-out measures both offline and online to best meet the needs of our customers.
  • Optimal product placement: You will ensure growth-oriented and potential-appropriate product presentation as well as demand-oriented stocking at our retailers.
  • Efficient route planning: You will organize your weekly customer visits and routes efficiently and document all activities in Salesforce.
  • Market and competition analysis: You will continuously monitor the market and competitors, document your findings, and derive targeted measures from them.

Requirements:

  • You have a solid commercial education, a degree, or a craft qualification with a strong commercial understanding. Technical know-how is an advantage.
  • You have several years of experience in the field of outside sales or inside sales, ideally in the sales of complex products.
  • You are well-versed in the requirements and opportunities of online business.
  • Your way of working is structured, independent, and effective. You are characterized by a high degree of solution orientation and an acute sense for identifying and exploiting customer potentials.
  • You are a communicative, agile personality with a clear customer and result orientation, high self-initiative, self-motivation, and a strong team spirit.
  • You are proficient in MS-Office and are ready to use internal reporting systems like PowerBI or Salesforce professionally.
  • You have the necessary travel readiness for your sales area.
  • You have a very good analytical understanding of sales and margin developments and can derive targeted sales measures from them.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English – further foreign languages are a plus.
