Job Description

To provide subject matter expertise and specialist knowledge in the implementation of a Technology Service Resilience framework, standards, practices, and processes for Group Technology or Business Unit and/or all countries. To embed IT Service Continuity Management (ITSCM) to ensure that IT services can continue to operate or be quickly restored in the event of a disruption or disaster. Guide and influence teams on the appropriate standards, practices and processors.

Qualifications

Education: A Degree in Business Commerce or Risk Management.

Experience Required:

  • 3-4 years experience or understanding of banking sector and regulatory requirements. Understanding and knowledge of risk management with the risk identification, tracking and remediation across the lines of defence.
  • 5-7 years experience and exposure to the delivery of the IT Service Continuity lifecycle (i.e. impact analysis, recovery strategy formulation, plan development, testing and exercising and governance and awareness related activities), engaging multiple stakeholders across the bank to fulfil value-chain and business line requirements for the IT Service Continuity programme.
  • Reasonable depth of exposure/understanding of Business Continuity Management processes and best practices.
  • Exceptional ability to remain calm under stress.
  • Excellent team skills, both as a leader and as a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation and reporting.
