The Level 3 Engineer is a highly skilled technical professional responsible for providing advanced support, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex issues within the organization's IT infrastructure. Working on regulatory messaging project within the bank. Main duties and responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving escalated technical problems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Implementing, maintaining, and optimizing systems, networks, and applications according to industry best practices. Leading root cause analysis for recurring incidents and developing solutions to prevent future issues. Providing guidance and support to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, assisting with technical development and knowledge sharing. Working closely with project managers and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure upgrades and new deployments. Documenting solutions, procedures, and technical standards for internal use. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and security threats relevant to the organization.
Project details include strengthening separation of duties controls, bringing in L3 support so developers don't interact with production, and troubleshooting and deployments across an array of apps.
