FinQuery is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Sales to offer our exciting new Contract and Spend Intelligence solutions to new and existing clients. You will utilize your strategic selling expertise and refined negotiation skills to drive the sales of our SaaS solutions to mid market and enterprise accounts.


You may be the perfect fit if you are mission-driven, curious, a self-starter, a strategic thinker, and have a track record of success in enterprise SaaS sales. The Director of Sales is a strategic and results-oriented sales leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in the enterprise technology industry (FinTech or Accounting technology is a plus). The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a deep understanding of customer needs, and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing sales team.

What you will be doing:

    • Sales Leadership and Management: Lead, motivate, coach and build a high performing B2B sales team. Expertly coach AEs and AMs to close business and optimize individual and team performance against revenue targets and win rate.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets, including attention to detail in managing forecasts and pipeline
    • Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast own individual sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools and methodologies.
    • Recruit, hire, and train sales team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed
    • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and make adjustments to the sales process and strategy as needed
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and market insights to drive growth
    • Account Management: Cultivate and expand relationships within existing accounts to increase revenue and ensure customer satisfaction by providing strategic guidance, identifying opportunities for expansion, and supporting their talent transformation agenda.
    • Product Expertise: Maintain thorough knowledge of FinQuery offerings to present and discuss with prospective clients. Understand customer needs and propose the best solutions accordingly.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to help implement pilots, drive account growth, and increase customer satisfaction.

What experience and skills we need you to have:

    • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing a sales team (FinTech and/or Accounting Software experience a plus)
    • You have proven credibility in consulting and authentically engaging with senior executive decision makers.
    • You have worked in fast paced, rapidly changing environment where you have sold new products or technologies as the company has expanded their offerings
    • You have experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles and landing new business.
    • You have excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills to effectively persuade prospects of the value of our solutions.
    • You are resilient and adaptable, and are comfortable creating new resources and processes needed to succeed, while adapting to changing market conditions, customer needs, and internal priorities.
    • You are able to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
    • The ideal candidate will have a proven record of scaling and leading high-performance Sales teams through strong mastery of process, and developing winning Sales cultures
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
