Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing risk management at the organization, focusing on the clinical and operational aspects of healthcare delivery. Responsible for the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management program for the identification, analysis and mitigation of the system's operational and strategic risk that supports and aligns with the organization's enterprise risk management program. Works with leadership and stakeholders at all levels across the system to drive continual improvement and effectiveness to identify and mitigate risk. Monitors the electronic incident reporting database in support of the organization's event management process. Ensures that identified clinical and operational risks and issues are communicated to local and system leaders as appropriate.
