Core Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Connect with volunteers across all age groups (14–90+), including individuals with disabilities; facilitate accommodations.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and events.
- Event Coordination: Lead fundraisers, social events, and auxiliary activities.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with potential for growth into higher-level roles.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conducts recruitment, selection and training of volunteers
- Coordinates the schedules and daily activities of volunteers
- Liaison between leadership and volunteer resources to match needs of department with skills of volunteers
- May also organize volunteer recognition program(s) and assist with fundraising efforts
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
