CAD Design Engineer
Purpose: Working as part of a busy and innovative Design team to meet ever evolving customer requirements. Tailoring existing product ranges as well as developing bespoke products to a high standard and within tight lead-times.

Hours: Monday to Friday, with a 2.30pm finish on Friday

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work on collaborative projects with Sales Managers and Architects using 2D and 3D CAD to engineer solutions.
- Administrate drawing office procedures such as drawing modifications, product introduction, and document control.
- Produce clear and concise Engineering drawings and specifications (Metal fabrications, machined components and sub assemblies).
- Design, develop, source and test prototypes before releasing to production.
- Identify and select materials needed for production.
- Prepare new product quotations based on standard product ranges.
Knowledge and Experience:
路 Ideally qualified to HNC level in a design or engineering discipline. 路 Experience with modern materials and manufacturing techniques. 路 Use and understanding of design software, ideally Solid Works, Auto Cad. 路 Experience in manufacturing/production beneficial.
