Your job

As a Technical Account Manager within the Demand Operations team at Sparteo, you will play a key role in optimizing the monetization of our publishers. You will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing our advertising operations across display, video, and native formats, working closely with the data, customer success, and technical teams. Your mission will be to dive into data and analyze part of the inventory in order to identify optimizations and areas for improvement for publishers, as well as independently launch projects to improve monetization. You will also plan and execute operational and product roadmaps, ensure the smooth integration of new demand partners, maintain a high-performing ad stack tailored to relevant and monetizable inventories, and contribute to the development of Sparteo's technical products.

To specify

  • Ensure optimal monetization of Sparteo's inventory by maintaining a fully optimized ad stack.
  • Promote monetization best practices among CSM and Onboarding teams.
  • Set up and monitor A/B tests in the form of projects.
  • Proactively identify and escalate monetization issues to our publishers.
  • Manage publisher monetization onboarding and act as a technical contact in pre-sales when integrating new partners.
  • Act as a technical consultant to support other teams in the development of Sparteo's products.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding updates, products, bugs, and successes.
  • Guarantee optimal configuration for the best ad monetization, including debugging issues related to JSON/JS/bid requests/VAST/VPAID, and ensure proper incident and escalation follow-up.
  • Build and monitor dashboards with key KPIs, and implement action plans in case of performance drops (revenue, fill rate, bid rate, RPM, or other key metrics).
  • Propose solutions and process/product optimizations to achieve internal and external objectives.

Your profile for this job

  • Proven 3 years experience in an ad-ops, customer success manager or technical account manager role within the digital advertising industry.
  • Knowledge of technical banner and video market standards (bid request, oRTB, safeframe, VAST, VPAID, ad-serving, SSP, DSP, etc.).
  • Experience in the programmatic display or video industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Open to understanding of web standards such as HTML, JS/JSON and video standards such as VAST/VPAID.
