Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Director

The Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Director will oversee, coordinate, and standardize Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language-Pathology services for the outpatient departments of the hospital at SMC, PMC, CMC & UMC as applicable. The Director is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight, and long-term business planning through interdisciplinary collaboration with key stakeholders in the department and organization. The Director will provide leadership and supervision fostering a supportive team environment, providing effective communication, delivering high-quality patient centered care, monitoring quality improvement initiatives, and standardizing operational best practices of the delivery of Rehab Services. He/she is responsible for budget management, capital investment and planning, cost containment, and revenue generation, and optimal productivity. He/she will stay current with advancement in Rehabilitation Services, promote professional development, and ensure accurate and timely documentation and compliance of all state and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Experience

• Five (5) years clinical experience and two (2) years of leadership experience

License/ Registration/Certifications

• SC PT/OT/SLP License
• BLS

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, or Healthcare Administration
