Influencer Marketing Manager

We're looking for a proactive and creative Influencer Marketing Manager who shares our passion for language learning and online communities. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to identify, recruit, and manage influencer and creator partnerships that drive awareness and adoption of Migaku.

You'll also work closely with our content and social teams to co-create engaging short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deeply plugged into the creator economy, and excited to build relationships with influencers across language, lifestyle, education, and tech niches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own Migaku's influencer and creator marketing strategy
  • Identify, outreach to, and recruit influencers and content creators who align with Migaku's mission
  • Manage relationships with new and existing influencer partners, from onboarding to campaign execution
  • Coordinate product gifting, affiliate opportunities, and paid campaigns as appropriate
  • Collaborate with influencers to co-create engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
  • Track and analyze performance of influencer campaigns (reach, engagement, conversions, ROI)
  • Keep up with influencer trends, creator platforms, and relevant communities
  • Collaborate with internal content and social media teams on content ideas and marketing initiatives
  • Occasionally appear in video content or behind the scenes as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in influencer marketing, talent management, or creator partnerships
  • Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube influencer ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting and managing influencer relationships
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Creative eye for social-first video content and what performs well across platforms
  • Self-starter with exceptional organization and project management skills
  • Passion for language learning and digital communities

Nice to Have

  • Existing network of influencers in language learning, productivity, education, or tech niches
  • Comfortable participating in or producing short-form content
  • Experience with video editing or directing creator content
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing or ambassador programs
  • Japanese language skills or cultural fluency (if non-native)

  • Working Hours No fixed hours. We value results over time clocks. Just be available for essential meetings and collaborate smoothly with the team. Expectation of a minimum 40-hour workweek.
