In this leadership role, you will play a crucial part in advancing the team's objectives by overseeing both internal and external services, supporting team members, and ensuring operational excellence in maintaining datasets and content. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team of highly motivated individuals and contribute to achieving the team's goals. You will lead efforts to improve data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness through collaboration, leverage strong technical acumen to drive automation and innovation, and the execution of ad-hoc projects, with a focus on acquiring and collecting public and private data. Responsibilities include managing a team that will process and analyze financial documents received from General/Limited Partners, including capital calls, distributions, financial statements, and schedules of investments. Develop data-driven strategies, lead data quality projects, identify and develop new datasets, foster a people-first mindset, motivate and mentor the team, develop technical acumen, set SMART objectives, monitor team performance, provide mentorship on industry trends and large-scale data projects, manage short-term and long-term projects, drive constructive conversations with leadership and stakeholders, promote innovation through Lean & automation, ensure timely execution, and be an ambassador of organizational values.
What we are looking for includes leadership experience in financial data services/alternative investments and private equity operations, understanding of market dynamics, operational management skills, performance metrics expertise, feedback and coaching ability, exceptional communication skills, flexibility, ethical standards, team collaboration, change management experience, analytical tools proficiency, project management experience, cultural awareness, passion for continuous learning, and a results-oriented mindset.
Preferred qualifications include extensive experience working closely with senior leaders, relationship building, autonomy and prioritization, networking skills, technical knowledge, data visualization proficiency, Lean methodology certification, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
