Summary/Objectives
The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for providing best practice advisory services to functional and technical streams throughout the solution implementation and ongoing sustainment. The Architect is the most senior technical design authority on the project. This role will oversee the ServiceNow Development and Admin team and certify the solution design of strategic technologies during solution development. This role will build and drive high performing relationships with strategic development partners to ensure high quality delivery of all aspects of solution development.
In an operational setting the Architect is responsible for architecting solution design in response to business process and system level changes as part of continual service improvement. They provide design perspectives to the implementation team to maintain consistency, stability, scalability and supportability of the solution and processes. The architect will advise and design how the platform will integrate with other key platforms across the organization as well as perform actual development. This individual needs to stay current on the vendor's solution capabilities and product roadmap and maintain the organizational roadmap for the solution.
Qualifications

Employee must have in depth knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform including Architecture, Development, Configuration and Platform Security as well as integration with tools and applications such as BigFix, Bomgar, Rapid7, Workday etc. Prior experience and/or understanding of Banking Processes and Workflow is a must. Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, or related field required. Training, management, ServiceNow Certification strongly preferred. Primary Responsibilities
- Create ServiceNow solution design concepts, integration architecture and framework for IT initiatives surrounding the platform.
- Understand the business context and how to translate business and functional requirements into a sustainable ServiceNow implementation.
- Work with Program Resources to define sustainment governance and processes as part of operational transition.
- Provide insight and expertise into the ServiceNow platform capabilities and vendor product roadmap.
- Work with ServiceNow team and business units to identify opportunities where the ServiceNow software can create streamlining, efficiency and automation.
- Critically evaluate business unit requirements, Strategic vision of the platform to develop design and architecture concepts.
- Administer and monitor the development and functionality of the ServiceNow Software.
- Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Execute system testing as needed.
- Aid other employees by liaising with them through healthy and positive interactions.
- Continuously update skills by participating in professional training.
- Seek opportunities to improve skills through cross-training offered by the Bank.
- Serve as a back up to the other ServiceNow team members.
- All other tasks, responsibilities, or duties, as directed by management.
Accepts other duties as assigned. Works with the Line of Business on projects surrounding the ServiceNow Platform.
Competencies
- Minimum of 5 years of ServiceNow implementation experience in large complex environments
- Minimum of 5+ years of technology implementation
- Firm understanding of ServiceNow applications and modules
- Information Technology experience required, including development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadline
- Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
- Strong technical project management and / or leadership skills
- Certified ServiceNow Application Developer, Implementer, Technical Architect or Master Architect Preferred.
- Expert knowledge of bank operations, technology, and their applications

- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills while interacting professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts

Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent Certified ITIL practitioner
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow Implementation and maintenance of large complex environments. Proven success in scoping, integrating, and implementing large projects. Minimum of 10 years of experience in ServiceNow Development or equivalent knowledge preferred
- Knowledge and comprehension of JavaScript & HTML. Proficient in web front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Functional front-end development with technologies such as ReactJs or Elm. Familiar with modern JavaScript development tools such as Webpack and Babel. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining processes via ITSM

Travel
This position requires travel to various SouthState locations as well as conferences, vendors, and other users.
In accordance with Colorado law: Colorado pay for this position is anticipated to be between $130,276.00 - $208,104.00, actual offers to be determined based on applicant's skills, experience and education.
