This role provides support and assistance to the Corporate Security Department in repair and maintenance of bank security related equipment. This includes providing support and training to business units as necessary and managing security equipment systems and information. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, performing a wide range of support duties for the Corporate Security Department.
This position is expected to perform the specific duties, tasks, and responsibilities as outlined below:

Proficient with general office machines and programs to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software that might be utilized in the department. Must have good knowledge of business English, including spelling and punctuation. Must be able to prepare documents and compose business letters and memorandums. Requires knowledge of office practices, procedures, and general office machines. Experience with security equipment, repairs, and maintenance. Ability to process and troubleshoot physical and technical issues with security equipment and processes.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Greater than 2 years of experience in banking or customer service. Experience working with bank security equipment and technology preferred. Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and coworkers; computer skills related to Microsoft office products.
On the job training and any additional training as needed (i.e. MS Excel, MS CRM, Report Writing and Processing Program, General Ledger and Financial Reporting Program and Core Processing System). Required annual compliance training.
Must be able to remain seated or work standing in a confined area on a computer for a minimum of four (4) hours each workday. Must be able to constantly use hands and fingers to enter data through or on a computer or answer a phone throughout most of an eight (8) hour shift. Must be able to walk frequently throughout the day to obtain supplies from other areas in the Bank. Must be able to hear and communicate with coworkers and customers throughout the day. May need to lift up to 25 pounds one to two times a day to perform job. Must be able to function in a professional, business office environment and act and dress appropriately, consistent with the Bank's grooming and dress codes. Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with vendors and coworkers. Must be willing to function as a team member. Must be willing to demonstrate commitment to South State Bank's mission and goals.
Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
