Summer Internship Program As Field Engineering Intern

Southland Holdings is seeking motivated and driven students to join our Summer Internship Program as Field Engineering Interns. This program provides hands-on experience in heavy civil construction, offering exposure to field operations, project engineering, and construction management.

Interns will assist project teams with a variety of tasks, which may include:

• Supporting daily field operations and project documentation
• Assisting with quantity tracking, material management, and progress reporting
• Reviewing plans, drawings, and specifications
• Participating in project meetings and safety initiatives
• Collaborating with engineers, superintendents, and project managers to learn how complex infrastructure projects are built

Interns may be assigned to one of our active projects or regional offices across the U.S. Project assignments vary depending on company needs, offering exposure to a wide range of civil infrastructure such as bridges, tunnels, and water treatment plants.

Travel or relocation is not required during the internship once assigned.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
