To support these goals, they are seeking a DBT Developer with experience in Hightouch to strengthen their data pipelines and reverse ETL workflows.
We are looking for a skilled and proactive DBT Developer with Hightouch expertise to join the data engineering team. In this role, you'll design and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines, build reverse ETL syncs to operational systems, and ensure data models are optimized for performance and reliability. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions that meet business needs and enable timely, data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
Data Pipeline Development & Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using DBT, optimizing for performance and reliability.
Data Integration & Sync Management: Implement and manage Hightouch syncs to deliver data from warehouse to business tools (e.g., NetSuite, Tableau), monitoring reliability and resolving issues proactively.
Data Modeling & SQL Optimization: Develop and optimize SQL queries, schemas, and models to support reporting and analytics while ensuring consistency and maintainability.
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Configure monitoring and alerting systems, troubleshoot replication or performance issues, and recommend system enhancements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, estimate development efforts, and deliver accurate and timely data solutions.
Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation (data flow diagrams, dictionaries, process docs) to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
What you need to succeed in this role:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.
Strong SQL expertise with ability to write complex, multi-layer transformations.
Hands-on experience with DBT (Cloud or Core).
Mandatory experience with Hightouch for reverse ETL workflows.
Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, normalization).
Working knowledge of Python (other programming languages a plus).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
