The Co-Op Engineer will assist the Engineering Department with development activities. Primary work involves using SolidWorks CAD software to design parts, subassemblies, and tools for high voltage circuit switchers as well as tools to build and test prototypes. At the end of every rotation, you will present out deliverables, experiences, and recommendations.
Education: Student enrolled in a four-year degree program, majoring in Mechanical Engineering (or similar degree) who has completed their freshman year of college.
Experience: Working knowledge of SolidWorks or other 3D parametric CAD software.
Strong hands-on, mechanical aptitude. This job requires assembling and testing prototypes. Knowing how to use tools is a must. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
