Technical Sales Specialist

The Technical Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in guiding and supporting a sales team by engaging with customers to provide solutions through the sale of mechanical components such as electric motors, bearings, gearboxes, and power transmission products. This position involves preparing quotes for projects by offering product options and collaborating closely with both field and inside sales teams, as well as other departments across the organization. Responsibilities include:

• Engage with customers via phone and email to provide solutions.
• Prepare quotes for projects by offering product options.
• Collaborate with field and inside sales teams and other departments.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in daily tasks.

Essential skills:

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical aptitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Sales experience.

Additional skills and qualifications:

• Great attitude and high aptitude to learn new concepts and processes.
• Experience working within the mechanical components industry.

Work environment:

The position is based in a professional office environment where you will work on a computer most of the day and make phone calls. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
