GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Network Engineer to support the AOUSC, this will be a remote position. Responsibilities include gathering information concerning the capabilities of company products, investigating technical capabilities, staying abreast of developments in hardware and software, generating quantifiable requirements, translating high-level product development strategies into network and system requirement specifications, establishing and coordinating development of standards, practices, and procedures, designing interfaces, and assessing performance for customer liaison and support. The role also involves coordinating the planning, design, and installation of equipment, participating in system conceptual design, installing new hardware, systems, and software for networks, designing, creating, and building network services, equipment, and devices, generating system level requirements verification procedures, monitoring system performance and implementing performance tuning, and reviewing test plans/procedures.
Qualifications include a high school diploma with 10+ years of networking engineering experience or commensurate experience, and the ability to maintain a public trust clearance.
