Oracle Health Shared Functional Services Principal Product Manager
Building off Oracle's Cloud momentum, Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI) is driving the modernization of healthcare software with a unified, cloud-native platform. Shared Functional Services (SFS) is a core part of this platform, delivering reusable services, APIs, and plugins that power critical workflows across clinical, operational, and financial applications. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product strategy and delivery for Oracle Health's Shared Functional Services in the platform team. These services include capabilities such as Rules Engine, Alerts & Notifications, Worklist & Tasking, Unified Messaging, Payments, Patient & Encounter Search, and other cross-application services.
You will:
- Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution for one or more Shared Functional Services.
- Partner with engineering to deliver cloud-native, scalable, and reusable services that power multiple Oracle Health applications.
- Define and own service APIs, extensibility points, and governance frameworks that guide application teams in when/how to use shared services.
- Collaborate with UX, Compliance, and Application PMs (clinical, back office, revenue cycle) to ensure consistent, intuitive, and compliant end-user experiences.
- Serve as a thought leader for platformization—turning point capabilities into reusable platform services with SLAs, observability, and extensibility.
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure Shared Functional Services meet adoption, performance, and compliance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product discovery, requirements definition, and roadmap planning for assigned Shared Functional Services.
- Author PRDs to drive clarity, alignment, and decision-making across engineering, design, and product leadership.
- Balance near-term delivery (quarterly releases) with long-term strategy, ensuring adoption across multiple consuming teams.
- Partner with compliance and security teams to ensure all services meet HIPAA, ONC HTI-1, and FedRAMP requirements.
- Develop success metrics (adoption, CSAT, SLA adherence, reuse %) and track them rigorously.
- Communicate service strategy, roadmap, and adoption status to leadership and cross-org stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of product management or related experience in health IT, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Proven track record of owning complex, cross-functional products or services with high organizational visibility.
- Strong understanding of APIs, extensibility frameworks, and cloud-native services.
- Customer-focused mindset with experience driving adoption across enterprise or public sector clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare IT standards (FHIR, HL7, HIPAA, ONC).
- Background in platform or shared services product management.
- Familiarity with developer experience, SDKs, and plugin architectures.
- Experience in delivering services used across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities:
- As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
