Principal TPM, Oracle – Central PMO for Data Center Infrastructure Delivery Engineering Team

As a Principal TPM, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and influence a diverse range of teams, driving the strategic growth of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Your expertise will ensure seamless data center innovation, delivery and keep OCI at the cutting edge of technology.

Responsibilities

Strategic Execution: Lead the implementation of OCI's strategic roadmap, including datacenter expansion, software development, and hardware engineering projects, in line with the organization's vision and goals.

Engineering Programs: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and roadmaps for cross-pillar initiatives. Identify project dependencies and critical paths, allocating resources effectively to ensure timely delivery. Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to executive stakeholders.

Cross-Pillar Coordination: Act as the central point of contact and facilitator for cross-pillar projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment between IDE, Raw Metal Cloud, Data Center Software, Planning, and Data Hall Design teams.

Technical Expertise: Lead technical program in software and hardware engineering, bridging the gap between development teams and operational requirements. Lead emerging technology programs in datacenter management, software development, and hardware engineering. Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and scalability.

Innovation and Engineering Excellence: Lead the implementation of new tools, methodologies, and processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall system performance. Drive innovation projects to keep our technology stack up-to-date and future-proof.

Additional responsibilities: Risk Management Vendor Management Data Center Operations KPI Monitoring & Reporting.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Extensive experience as a TPM or similar leadership role in the cloud infrastructure or datacenter domain. In-depth understanding of cloud computing, datacenter design, software development, and hardware engineering principles. Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence diverse teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of successful project deliveries in a complex, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Oracle's OCI offerings and a good understanding of the cloud market landscape. Ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
