Position Summary: This role supports new model development by overseeing part tooling progress, monitoring supplier status, and identifying delays throughout the product lifecycle. The individual will manage the receipt and evaluation of Quality Assurance Notices (QANs) from suppliers, ensuring technical accuracy and driving corrective actions to secure part approval. Key responsibilities include conducting detailed Part-by-Part Reviews and inspecting trial event components to identify and resolve process-related defects and design issues. The role leads New Model Reviews (NMR) to confirm full part maturation prior to mass production and provides regular status updates to the PQ management team. The candidate will contribute analysis and recommendations to the Group Lead for New Model Evaluation reports, highlighting concerns and outlining countermeasures. Onsite supplier visits are required to assess issues firsthand and establish improvement plans. Flexibility is essential, as the role may involve off-shift and weekend work, as well as domestic and international travel to supplier locations. Overtime may be required to meet departmental needs.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
