Operations Manager Railcar Loader

Position Summary: You will provide leadership and management oversight for assigned areas of responsibility. Ensure site compliance with safety, SOP and customer requirements.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
• Embody the ethical practices and core principles of the company
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance within the scope of duties, included but not limited to hire, fire, promotions or other changes in employee status
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable company, customer, OSHA, EPA, FRA and DOT regulations by performing key audits and/or relevant inspections. These are included but not limited to AAR, ISA, ISO, etc..
• Ensuring all associates understand and comply with applicable customer and company work instructions, quality procedures and site SOP's
• Continually seek and document methods for improvement in the quality of the services being provided and the efficiency in which those services are conducted
• Setting and monitoring specific developmental and performance goals for associates

What's Required:

• High school diploma/GED or ability
• Safety first mentality
• 3 or more years of supervisory experience
• Microsoft Office knowledge is a must
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Able to meet attendance requirements
• A teamwork, can do attitude and willing to learn
• Valid state driver's license
• Bilingual abilities required
