The Sr. .Net Full Stack Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that align with our business goals. With a focus on AWS, SQL, PostgreSQL, and .Net Core, the candidate will contribute to the enhancement of our asset and wealth management systems. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust software solutions using AWS, SQL, PostgreSQL, and .Net Core to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Design scalable and efficient system architectures that enhance performance and reliability.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize existing systems and applications for improved performance and user experience.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Document software designs, processes, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all software solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver solutions that align with business goals and customer needs.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of technology initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of extensive experience in AWS, SQL, PostgreSQL, and .Net Core demonstrating strong technical proficiency.
• Have a solid understanding of asset and wealth management domains enhancing the relevance of solutions.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the software engineering field.

Salary and compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be between $68,000 to $114,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
