IT Support Analyst

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, ensuring systems and devices operate seamlessly across multiple locations. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving hardware, software, and IT-related issues via a ticketing system.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex technical problems to the IT Director for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral devices for both onsite and remote users.
  • Manage user accounts by creating, modifying, and disabling access while adhering to internal security policies.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security protocols and organizational policies to safeguard systems and data.
  • Provide onsite IT support at branch locations, requiring occasional travel.
  • Monitor endpoint management systems and ensure the proper functioning of backup processes.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to address warranty and technical service needs.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, delivering user training, and contributing to IT-related projects.

Requirements:

  • Strong aptitude for customer service with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues with IT systems, hardware, and software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders when required.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Windows 10, Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Associate degree required; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel as needed.
