HR Operations Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for oversight of one or more HR Operations process(es) which includes developing an in-depth understanding of systems, processes, and legislative rules. Develop an in-depth, wing-to-wing knowledge of company HR operations systems & processes. This role requires emphasis on data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed to critical HR and Business stakeholders. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvements. Promote "Best in Class" service while developing effective relationships and working cross functionally with internal teams and suppliers.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for responding to employee and HR service ticket requests, direct entry and processing of transactions into HR systems, and management of escalations and questions.
  • Utilize Flight Deck principals to drive operational technology/process improvements and deliver a more contemporary service delivery experience to the business.
  • Foster a culture of customer service excellence and continuous process improvement by providing "Best in Class" customer service and advise on questions/requests from employees, businesses, and HR partners.
  • Develop functional knowledge and skills in GE HR practices and procedures to execute client support to the business as required.
  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish day-to-day responsibilities, while developing a good understanding how the team integrates with other client facing HR and Aerospace HR People Operations teams.
  • Has the ability to use autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills which allow for development of strong customer relationships while serving as the interface between client facing HR support and Aerospace People Operations.

Qualifications/requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least four years of relevant experience)
  • 2+ years' work experience within the HR function
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and execute small projects
  • Previous experience in Workday Organizational data management
  • Previous experience in Workday Pay Related data elements
  • Strong customer service focus, with the ability to anticipate customer needs with a high level of responsiveness
  • Experience with Case Management / Ticketing system frameworks for the effective intake and tracking of services
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team environment
  • Applies judgment ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality

Pay and benefits:

The base pay range for this position is $71,900 -107,800. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/commission based on the plan.
