HR/Payroll Associate

Location: Florence, SC Pay Rate: $18/hour Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent Olsten Staffing has an immediate opening for an HR/Payroll Associate with a well-established company. This role works directly with HR, performing payroll duties and coordinating employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the leadership team to implement talent strategies, including recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Support organizational goals, values, and daily HR operations.
• Compile payroll data, including hours worked, sales volume, bonuses, commissions, tax withholdings, and employee contributions to insurance and retirement plans.
• Enter, maintain, and process payroll information, including hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, paid leave, deductions, and employee updates.
• Provide excellent service to employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Perform other HR and payroll duties as assigned. Duties and responsibilities may be reassigned as business needs require.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of payroll experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
