Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food products. You will be responsible for measuring and scaling ingredients, labeling them properly, and following precise mixing instructions. Your role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our products while working in a climate-controlled, FDA-regulated environment.
Accurately measure and scale ingredients according to the mixing schedule and each formula.
Properly label all scaled ingredients with date, name of ingredient, weight, and batch number.
Follow batch sheets to accurately mix ingredients.
Ensure the quality of the product meets our standards.
Transport scheduled ingredients to designated storage areas.
Mix certain non-complex mixtures as needed, ensuring chronological usage of ingredients.
Lift and handle up to 50 lbs regularly.
Monitor equipment effectively.
Order necessary ingredients from Shipping/Receiving as per the day's schedule.
Follow instructions from a tablet.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Experience in manufacturing and production environments.
Proficiency in machine operation and mixing processes.
Ability to operate mixers and scalers.
General labor and production experience.
Familiarity with packaging, inspection, and packing processes.
Competency in using a tape measure.
Experience in a cleanroom environment is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work in a climate-controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 45 to 65 degrees. Our facility is FDA-regulated and accommodates around 50-75 employees. The company is headquartered in Reading, PA. The role involves a Monday to Friday shift with various start times and may require working 9 to 12 hours a day. The production includes mixing lines and scaling lines with specific start times.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.
The pay range for this position is $18.16 - $18.16/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
