This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the production equipment and plant facility conscientiously and reliably, consistent with company standards. Responsibilities include performing preventative and repair maintenance on equipment, starting machines and equipment to test operation following repair, recording preventative maintenance tasks and work orders in a timely manner, troubleshooting various areas in the plant, conducting regular inspections and test procedures, completing work orders and responding to maintenance calls, inventorying spare parts and reporting usage, and performing other duties as assigned.
Skills required include mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, maintenance technician, mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical troubleshooting. Top skills details include mechanical maintenance and electrical maintenance. Additional skills and qualifications include one year of manufacturing experience, preferably from a food manufacturing background, and math and computer skills.
The pay range for this position is $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
