Maintenance Technicians in Gray Court, SC

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilities equipment. Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment, troubleshoot, and diagnose. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives. Engage in mechanical, electrical, electrical controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, plumbing, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities equipment.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Engage in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Engage in pneumatic, welding, and plumbing troubleshooting and repair.

Essential Skills

• Experience in electrical, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and maintenance and repair.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and facility repair.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
• PLC troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Commercial electrical background preferred.
• Experience with Siemens PLC/VFD and Allen Bradley VFD.
• Ability to be on call.
• Must be able to stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining electrical/electronic control circuits.
• Ability to identify potential technical issues and resolve them with minimal supervision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00/yr. Fibertex is expanding and production is at an all-time high. The plant is extremely clean and climate controlled. PPO Benefits offered first month from hire.
