Huntington Financial Advisor Service Specialist
HFA Service Specialists provide client relationship building partnerships with Advisor(s) and are responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation, and maintenance of the relationship. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington in terms of establishment, documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship, including the digital experience.
- Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and building rapport.
- Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing, and resolving complex problems with accounts.
- Works directly with the client and/or relationship manager to obtain financial information or other documentation needed for new accounts, loans, and servicing requests.
- Builds an effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel, including branch colleagues.
- Services customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts.
- Researches and resolves complex problems regarding service activities and operational issues.
- Assists the advisors by processing and maintaining documentation, resolving discrepancies, and preparing for meetings and presentations.
- Prepares various internal reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems, and related technology, digital experience, policies, and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or at least five years of experience within investments/financial services.
- Minimum of nine months of customer service experience within investments/financial services.
- Series 6, Series 63, and life and health license.
Preferred qualifications:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with investment acumen, including investment products, individual retirement accounts (IRAs).
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to create and foster strong partnerships with business partners, working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Demonstrated high degree of initiative and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adaptive to change.
