Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for full time Food Service Utility positions. Location: Spartanburg Medical Center - 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time; days and hours may vary. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview. Prior food service utility experience is preferred. Job Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly. Essential duties and responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards, washing worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces, removing trash and placing it into designated containers, steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans, transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, assisting with banquet table and front of the house set up, assisting with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product, distributing supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed, complying with outlined sanitation and safety requirements, and performing other duties as assigned.
